This trade took a while to come to fruition, 30 minutes in the market finally gave a signal that it was ready to turn up. The pivot offered a nice rejection point early in the session, however I didn’t stay in this trade due to concern the market may continue rallying. Had I of held this trade I might have been looking at around 120 points.
This trade was based on a combination of factors that transpired pre-market and at the open. The big ask order indicating possible limit sell, outside the 4 hour upper bollinger band, above the high gap (extreme gap) and a weak push up at the open to provide an excellent entry price short.
